PALERMO PUBLISHING UNBOUND | WOK GALLERY

PALERMO PUBLISHING UNBOUND | WOK GALLERY

On Friday, November 22, Palermo Publishing will debut its first pop-up in Milan at WOK Gallery, a concept store in Porta Venezia. Known for its curated mix of international and Italian craftsmanship alongside trend-setting contemporary design, WOK Gallery also serves as a dynamic space for creative dialogue and innovation.

In alignment with its commitment to fostering artistic exchange, WOK Gallery hosts In Chat With, a series that highlights the practices and research of both emerging and established creatives, moderated by Mulieris Magazine.

Michela Palermo, founder of Palermo Publishing, will share insights into the press’s distinctive approach to independent publishing, emphasizing materiality, artist collaboration, and a focus on the marginal gaze. Committed to the poetics of the margin, Palermo Publishing elevates perspectives outside the mainstream, offering a rich, authentic view of contemporary publishing culture. Michela will discuss the inspiration and meticulous craftsmanship behind three recent artist books, ALBUM 900 by Lucia Pescador, SONGS FOR BIRDS AND THE LONELY by Dietmar Busse, WHEREUPON by Allen Frame. Each title reflects Palermo Publishing's commitment to storytelling through layered narratives and thoughtful, artful design. Join us at WOK Gallery for a chance to explore our work and experience the ethos behind Palermo Publishing in a welcoming and inspiring space, surrounded by design and new connections.

After the talk, stay with us for a glass of wine offered by SFUSOBUONO, a thoughtful project that selects artisanal wines from small wineries, carefully packaged in sustainable and eco-friendly materials.
