THE BOOK’S SPACE POP-UP BY PALERMO PUBLISHING | OJDA, PALERMO

We are delighted to present a new edition of KIOSK, the pop-up bookshop curated by Palermo Publishing and organised on the occasion of the 2024 edition of TEATRO BASTARDO, Palermo's festival dedicated to the performing arts.
From Thursday October 10th until Saturday October 12th, in Ojda's space, KIOSK will offer a selection of artists' books that explore the book as a performing space.
This year's edition, entitled "The Book's Space", explores the interaction between book and performance, offering titles that invite the reader to engage beyond the visual level, creating a complete experience, in line with the artistic investigation of TEATRO BASTARDO.

Opening hours:

The bookshop will be open tomorrow from 6pm to 8pm and Friday and Saturday from 10am to 8pm.

 

Events planned:

An open meeting with TEATRO BASTARDO and its artists will be held Thursday 10th at 7 pm to inaugurate the festival.

 

On Friday 11th at 7pm there will be IMAGINARY BOOKSHOP SOUND SYSTEM, the presentation of the Time Based Edition 02, featuring a reinterpretation of Sara Rossi's artist book ADE DEA, set to music by ULLA & PERILLA, curated by Ant Hampton. A special event that will bring together the world of publishing with the world of music and performance, to coincide with the launch at Missreadberlin, Berlin's independent publishing fair.
