CARTOLINE DI SICILIA
Palermo Publishing’s inaugural project showcases the archive of Sicilia, the quarterly magazine of the Sicily region’s tourism office for almost three decades from 1953.
Evoking a “souvenir” format in a limited-edition set of 12 postcards, the prints can be kept as a collector's item or sent out into the world, their specially crafted box creating a space for new memories.
The images, which showcase just a fraction of the publication’s visual legacy, feature stand-out front covers and other elements that reference the culture, history and landscapes of the island.
Printed on natural paper crafted from the discarded residues of leather production, the Cartoline di Sicilia collection has a distinctive look and a soft, velvety feel.
